Ash Wednesday

Easter is more than a day. It follows a season of spiritual preparation known as Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday. On this day, we receive a simple marking of ash in the shape of the cross on our foreheads. It is a sign of our humility as we walk with God and seek to turn toward the divine invitation of faithful living.
