Stuart Allen was born in Seattle, Washington and lived in several states throughout his childhood. He attended and graduated from North Central College and Evangelical Theological Seminary in Naperville, Illinois.
He has served as Pastor of Senior Ministries at Cargill UMC since retiring from full time ministry in 2010. Stu has served churches throughout southern Wisconsin, including the church in Milton where he now resides. He believes strongly in the church as a community of believers coming together for worship, spiritual growth, and service to the community and world in which it is located. Christian education for adults, and reaching out itself have been areas of ministry Stu enjoys most.
Stu has developed a strong sense of servanthood through participation in community organizations where he has lived and being part of Wisconsin Conference district committees and teaching numerous classes in Lay Servant ministry.
Stu has had a lifelong love of photography has always been the center-point of his hobbies. They also include travel, reading, bicycling, volunteerism and, in years gone by, fly fishing. Stu has a married daughter living in the U.K. and a son living in Irvine, California.
