The Cargill United Methodist Church, on Janesville’s near east side, is a five-minute drive from downtown Janesville. One block off Milwaukee Street at Harmony Drive, it is easily accessible from anywhere in the city of 64,000.
The community of Janesville is 40 miles southeast of the state capital of Madison and 17 miles north of the Wisconsin-Illinois state line.
The Cargill UMC campus is one of the largest United Methodist Church buildings in Wisconsin. Built in 1960, we have a large Sanctuary, a smaller chapel, a large gathering space called the Fellowship Hall, and several classrooms.
At the center of the building is a courtyard reminiscent of an English garden called a garth.
Cargill UMC also houses the Cargill Christian Learning Center.
